Now, that symbol has come to life.
After more than a century of helping customers improve their homes, Lowe’s added a new chapter to its story with the debut of its first-ever mascot. The Lowe’s bucket mascot made its first appearance Friday, Nov. 21, at the grand opening of a new store in Royse City, Texas.
The debut also marked a broader moment of momentum for Lowe’s in Texas. The Royse City location became the fifth store the company opened in the state this year alone, part of a continued investment in high-growth communities across Texas.
This marks the beginning of a new chapter for our city; one filled with growth, pride and connection. We’re proud to be part of the momentum in Texas and look forward to the good work ahead for our community and customers.
With each new store, Lowe’s creates hundreds of jobs for local residents, from red vest associates to department supervisors and delivery drivers. Beyond employment, these openings bring new opportunities for community giving.
