Canopy Village is North Idaho’s only crisis respite and emergency shelter for youth, also providing residential treatment and family support services. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the facility will remove old flooring, mask windows, paint interior walls, and replace worn vinyl and carpet throughout its 35-year-old residential home, which serves up to twelve children at a time. These renovations will enhance the safety and comfort of the space, helping ensure that Canopy Village remains a secure and supportive environment for the hundreds of vulnerable children who rely on its care each year.
