Victory Junction enriches the lives of children with serious illness and chronic medical conditions by providing life-changing camp experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering; all in a medically safe environment at no cost to the camper or their family. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, Camp will be able to replace current bathroom flooring in all cabins and two program areas with non-slip monolithic flooring. These renovations will ensure that Camp is safe, welcoming and accessible to all campers regardless of their cognitive, medical, or physical abilities.

Rise Disaster Relief & Recovery, Inc. (RISE) is a nonprofit organization established to bridge the gap between available federal disaster relief and the ongoing needs of the community. RISE provides with dignity, compassion, humility, and kindness, relief and mitigation to citizens impacted by natural and human-caused disasters. RISE will continue to serve the citizens of Spruce Pine through revitalization efforts to rebuild the Riverside Park.

Hope Vibes Inc. exists to bring awareness, hope, and tangible solutions to the homelessness crisis through direct services, innovative outreach, and community engagement. With support from the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the organization will renovate and build out a second Hope Tank—a mobile hygiene and laundry unit equipped with showers and washer/dryer access for those experiencing homelessness. This expansion will allow Hope Vibes to reach more underserved areas, restoring dignity and providing critical resources to individuals in need across the community.

Children’s Homes of Iredell County is a foster care agency that is dedicated to empowering at-risk children and young adults, helping them overcome adversity and reach their full potential through evidence-based programs and family-modeled environments. With the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the agency will renovate an existing transitional living home by adding three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchenette/social area, increasing capacity to serve up to six additional residents.

Charlotte Bilingual Preschool was founded in 1999 to provide Latino children with a free, high-quality bilingual education and today serves 700 Latino children and adults annually through 3 business lines: a Bilingual Preschool, a Workforce Development program and a Family Services program. With the Lowe's Hometowns grant, Charlotte Bilingual Preschool will install new flooring, paint the interior and exterior of our building and install a digital sign at the roadside of our property.

American Legion Post 321 is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the well-being of local veterans, active-duty military, military families, and the community while promoting patriotism and awareness of veterans' contributions. With the support of the Lowe’s Hometowns grant, the organization will renovate its facility by upgrading its bathrooms to comply with ADA standards, conducting mold remediation, updating the well-used kitchen, and replacing the deteriorating flooring, ceiling, and outdated ductwork in our canteen.

The ourBRIDGE for KIDS' Charlotte is Home Center will expand the community’s ability to welcome and guide newcomers as they start anew in the United States. The Lowe's Hometowns project will add an accessible entrance and update carpet, tile, flooring, paint, doors and hardware. Security and new signage will also be added.

Renovations and upgrades through Lowe's Hometowns will help transform the current lobby into a one-stop resource center for individuals to successfully transition back into the community and connect to wrap-around services and support.
